Must include critical silencer, residential silencer unacceptable. Generator compartment lowered to minimize intrusion but high enough to avoid road bumps – ground clearance of 12” required. Inside control panel with start/stop switch. Hold open for door, stainless steel. Lockable compartment door. Hour meter. Battery condition meter. 12-volt battery power, 625 CCA. Fuel from main tank. Generator must be delivered with appropriate supply of fluids contained. Generator MUST be contained on a pull-out tray for ease of service/maintenance. COMPLY____

Satellite System - One (1) MotoSat DataStorm or equivalent, two-way, broadband, Roof-mounted satellite data system shall be provided and installed. System shall include all control hardware and software required to integrate with the Library’s anticipated on-board computer system (to be installed by the library post-delivery). System shall also include complete system configuration for use with the library’s information system. System shall stow on the bookmobile roof and automatically search and lock on the associated satellite. System shall include a safety interlock feature to automatically stow the antenna upon putting the vehicle into gear or if the unit experiences unsafe wind loads. Vendor will have SPIN number and accommodate library E-rate/Universal Service and/or other guidelines. COMPLY____
Shelving/Woodworking - Acore or equal aluminum shelving, exact layout to be determined. Must provide a minimum of six storage drawers. Brochure or pamphlet racks, customized to the needs of CCPLS staff, shall be provided, along with a 10-tier magazine rack. Will include four rolling wall-hugger type book-carts which shall affix into the regular system with securements. COMPLY____
Steps (Patron) - Electric step mechanism shall be provided below entrance door, Kwikee or equivalent. Step shall be 30” wide tread area with positive non-skid surface. COMPLY____ Storage (Interior) - Storage shall be determined upon award. A minimum of a coat storage area/closet with a fixed top shelf and solid brass hooks; overhead cabinets or undercounter cabinets or drawers where space allows. Warranty Chassis - 5 years/100,000 miles on certain components w/$100 deductible after 3 years/36,000 miles; Body - 5 years limited warranty; Upfitting/Conversion – 5 years; Generator – 2 years; Rooftop Air Conditioner – 1 year; Other components as specified by manufacturer at least 1 year. Warranties will begin upon full acceptance delivery of bookmobile to library. Vendor must submit to manufacturer a Delay of Warranty Start Form. COMPLY____
Inspection - Two inspections by library staff shall be included at the vendor's expense. Expenses to include mileage, room and meals. One inspection trip shall take place before production begins. The second trip will take place prior to delivery. COMPLY____
Delivery To library - Training for staff, bumper to bumper minimum of ½ day. State delivery time/terms. Timing of delivery will affect decisions on the awarding of the bid. COMPLY___
